Tammy Andrus is the 49-year-old mother of four beautiful girls ages 10 to 29 years, the bragging grandmother to one grandson and another grandchild on the way. She completely adores her family along with her husband, Wayne of 22 years. Kerry Johnson has had a love affair with stories since she was a little girl. She worked in Public Broadcasting while earning her B.S. in English Education from the University of South Florida, then taught middle school remedial reading and drama before spending eight years as a stay-at-home mom and wife. She has been published in Creation Illustrated, Granola Bar Devotionals, and was a regular contributor to Tampa Bay’s Overflow Magazine from 2011-2013. In 2008 Kerry began writing her first story, and she dipped her toes in the blogosphere the following year. After nearly a decade of learning the craft of fiction, prayer, and (im)patience, God cracked opened the door she’d eagerly knocked on for years. Her contemporary romance, The Name Game, was a two-time finalist in ACFW’s (American Christian Fiction Writers) Genesis Contest (2016 and 2017), and her middle grade manuscript finaled in 2015 then won the Genesis Award in 2017 (YA). In 2016 and 2018, two of Kerry’s manuscripts won their categories at the Florida Christian Writers Conference (Middle Grade and Romance). After earning a Ph.D. in measurement and assessment of human performance, Liette worked over 15 years as a university professor in statistic and research. Tammi Slavin is a native of South Texas, which she has called “home” her whole life. She is an Occupational Therapist, specializing in hand therapy, and attended UT Medical Branch at Galveston. She has had the honor in assisting many patients over the years with their rehabilitation, and has learned more from her patients than she has “taught.” Some of her interests are spending time with family/friends, being ridiculously competitive with family board games, exercising, playing the piano, going on “drive-ventures” with her kids, reading, and learning as much as possible in general. Stacey Tuley has been happily and faithfully married for 24 years to her husband Richard, she is the mother of two amazing adult children and two babies she will meet someday in heaven, she has two loyal fur babies as well. She has worked professionally as a BSN, RN who graduated with honors from UTMB-Galveston, Texas. She has been blessed to be an extension of Jesus’s arms and feet in both professional (in the areas of newborn nursing, med-surg, hospice, and ob-gyn nursing) and in volunteer ministry settings (as a Celebrate Recovery Women’s Step Study Leader for 10 years, Pregnancy Center of the Coastal Bend nurse sonographer, and she started the Beauty for Ashes Ministry in Lake Jackson, Texas in 1999 at Family Life Church that still runs with the same vision, and she has lead and participated in different small group ministry opportunities. She is a Severe Pre-eclampsia with HELLP Syndrome and stroke survivor and thriver. She suffers with rare disease and is a volunteer in the CVID and PI TEXAS online Facebook support group, but she doesn’t let it steal her joy, in fact her hardships have molded her to become an unshakable, immovable rock in her faith and an encourager to all she meets who struggle as a by product.
